Description
This book, particularly, is an anthology of sacred texts from various religious traditions, useful for prayer and meditation. The reason for bringing them together is twofold. Firstly, as I went on collecting the sacred texts from their religious sources, I found to my surprise and gladness that all religious texts say the same thing, though in different words. This made me believe once again in the common spiritual heritage of humanity. People may, by birth and adoption, belong to various religious traditions but in them there is a fire burning that shed light upon them and their ways and transform them. What a common ground for all to realize this “Family of Oneness” (Vasudhaiva kutumbakam), travelling as pilgrims to the same goal!
