In view of helping the entire Church in India reflect on the theme of synodality, the Department of Missiology, St. Peter’s Pontifical Institute, took the bold initiative of organising a National Conference on the theme: Church in India on the Path of Synodality. Nearly 60 scholars and theologians representing almost every part of the country presented their scientific research papers at the National Conference, which focused on eight thematic fields: Empirical, Biblical, Historical, Canonical, Theological, Visionary, Subalterns, and Missiological.
